These studies involve selecting a number of data observation points in the past, together with a picture of the present or immediate past with respect to the phenomenon under study, and then making certain assumptions as to the likely future trends. In a way you are compiling a cross-sectional picture of the trends being observed at different points in time over the past, present and future. From these cross-sectional observations you draw conclusions about the pattern of change.

THIS SITE WAS CREATED AT THE BEGINNING OF COVID 19 LOCKDOWN WITH THE AIM TO PROVIDE MEDICAL STUDENTS WITH SELF STUDY NOTES IN MEDICINE, PHARMACOLOGY, RESEARCH METHODS, MICROBIOLOGY, PATHOPHYSIOLOGY AND BIOCHEMISTRY.
