Like action research, feminist research is more a philosophy than design. Feminist concerns and theory act as the guiding framework for this research. A focus on the viewpoints of women, the aim to reduce power imbalance between researcher and respondents, and attempts to change social inequality between men and women are the main characteristics of feminist research.
